ABOUT

My name is Hailey Byrom and I am a senior at University of Colorado Boulder. I am new to the art world, however I have always had an eye and passion for aesthetics.

I don't necessarily consider myself to be an artist in the traditional sense, but I do think that artists come in all forms. I have taken art classes various times in my educational career, all of which I have enjoyed greatly. While I thoroughly enjoy drawing and painting, I can't say that I have a particularly strong talent for it. However, it has come to be a fun and relaxing pastime as I have gotten older.

Here in my about page you can find pictures of myself, my pets, and one art piece that I am particularly proud of. I spend the majority of my time with my pets, who are my true loves and passion. In my artwork to come, you will likely find that my primary inspiration comes from my pets, other animals, and from nature. I have always been drawn towards mountain landscapes, whether they are created digitally or with watercolor. As I work through this class, I hope to grow not only as an artist but as a viewer of art as well. I also hope to acquire additional computer literacy skills when it comes to all aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite.
